Castle residents invited to have their sayCASTLE residents want CAT officers to pounce on nuisance youth problems.A total of 45 residents went along to the latest (Jan 16) Community Action Meeting (CAM) led by Police Community Support Officer Barbara Stock to register their views on the issues they have concerns about. They changed the focus from litter, which was the priority area selected at the first CAM, and Barbara will now work with her Northwich Community Action Team (CAT) colleagues and Vale Royal Borough Council Community Wardens to address the latest priority area. Barbara said: “I’m really pleased with the way the CAMs are going. Lots of people are attending which is a great sign. “We’re well on the way to resolving the litter problems raised at the first meeting. We’ll now work closely with the wardens and youth workers to tackle the latest priority area. “I’m confident over the coming weeks our efforts will have an impact and make life better for Castle residents.” Progress made by police and partner agencies will be reported back to residents at the next CAM which will take place in around two months’ time. To find out more about the CAM process in Castle contact PCSO Barbara Stock on 0845 458 6392. Please note this is a recording facility which allows callers to leave messages for the CAT. Messages are regularly checked and responded to. NEXT MEETING: HOLY TRINITY CHURCH HALL, 7pm., 11 APRIL© Copyright 2002, Vale Royal Community Safety Partnership. |
