ASBOs

MARIE ANN SEDDON

30 yrs old Marie Ann Seddon appeared before Northwich Magistrates court on 24 August 2004 and was made subject of an ASBO. The conditions are as follows.

It is ordered that the defendant be prohibited within England and Wales from:

1. Acting or inciting or encouraging others to act in an anti-social manner, that is to say, in a manner that causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one of more persons not of the same household;

2. Threatening or inciting or encouraging others to engage in violence or damage against any person or property;

3. Using or encouraging others to use foul, abusive, insulting, offensive, threatening or intimidating language or behaviour in any public place;

4. Approaching, threatening, intimidating or communicating directly or indirectly with the following witnesses in the case

5. Entering the exclusion zone marked red on the plan, attached hereto, namely the area known as Water Bank Row and Water Street area Northwich, without the prior written consent of the Duty Inspector;

6. Associating with certain listed persons in any place to which the public has access:

7. Entering any dwelling without the prior permission of the tenant or owner/occupier;

8. Using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards any person whatsoever within the area, whereby the recipient of such behaviour would be likely to fear immediate unlawful violence;

9. Consuming illegal substances or behaving in a drunk and disorderly manner in a public place;

10. Congregating in a group of 4 or more persons (such a number to include the Defendant) upon the public highway or in a public open space other than for the purposes of spectating or playing at an organised sporting event, or taking part in or as part of the audience of any other organised public event;

11. Using or encouraging others to use any controlled drug (as defined by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971) in a public place or within view of any public place;

12. Being possession of or encouraging others to possess any controlled drug (as defined by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971) in a public place or within view of any public place.

13. Being possession of or encouraging others to possess any items uses or required to assist in the taking of any controlled drug (as defined by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971) in a public place or within view of any public place.

The ASBO is to remain in force for 5 years.

Any breach of the above conditions is an arrestable offence.

Please could any breaches be reported at the time to the police so they can be acted upon.
